She has interviewed cult alternative lifestyle icons such as musicians (Peter Steele from Type O Negative, Ville Valo from HIM), film directors (Jake West who shot Doghouse and Evil Aliens), writers (Daniel Schaffer who wrote and inked Dogwitch and Indigo Vertigo), cutting edge fashion designers and fetish scene stalwarts.

She has a Ph.D. studying the molecular biology of insects and her day-job enables her to persue her passion for making science a subject that is both fun and accessible for the public.

She loves going to live gigs and although she isn't out and about as much as she used to be, she sometimes heads to the alternative clubs in London to dance her little heart out.

Mostly, however, she meets up with friends locally and enjoys the company of those whom she loves.
